Our Creator

Hello there! I’m Alana and I’m the creator of Tropicala. I always remember trying to find that perfect bikini. That one that makes me fall in love automatically with the print, colors and fit. Unfortunately, didn’t had that much luck. I thought that making a bikini was easy so with 0 knowledge in sewing I destroyed one (literally, it was a mess!). So I stepped back and took YouTube sewing classes (😅). In 2017 I decided to jump in again at trying to make a bikini and took a swimwear class. Since then, creating bikinis and swimsuits is my passion, my hobby, my full time job. Tropicala is an attitude, how you feel. I want to show that in every style and print that is created. But more important of all, I want you to feel happy and free in your swimsuit!
